First Post

This is my first post.  I have been flying quite a few times that I should have blogged about, but I forget I had this account and been too lazy to type a blog (finger calories).

My last flight was to Eufaulla Lake in Oklahoma.  Bonni had went with me since I wanted a female companion (not what you think) for the trip.  It started off really fun.  I got really toasted and pissed off at the party we had went to there, and ended up walking back to the plane that night.  Didnt really bother me all that much, I just get pretty stubborn when people talk crap and walk away and not talk it out like a bitch.  Other than that, it was fun.  The approach the airstrip was amazing.  It had been about 3 months since I had flown the Diamond DA20, and on the first approach had to execute the missed for the 3000′x50′ runway surrounded by 35′ trees.  The second approach was succesful with about a 10′ clearance from the wing to the top of the trees, it was an exhilirating approach.  We had the aircraft stopped within the first 1000′ feet, exit the runway and taxi to the half grass/half asphalt parking area.  We shut down and waited for Jared to pick us up to take us to the party.  We cruised out there at about 9,000′ with no problems and it was the highest I had ever been in an ASEL.

I am scheduled to fly again this Tuesday with another instrument student in his Cessna 150, which is IFR certified.  I would really like to try and fly with this kid 10 hours a week and get my commercial license in the next 3 months.

Thats all for now, I plan on posting after every flight from now on.
